What we have today as Holy Trinity Parish was first of all an out station of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral, Douala who had as parish priest, Fr Lucien ENDENE. It was popularly known as "Chapelle Yambassa" for some and "Aumonerie Catholique" for others, depending on Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral.
The community from origin was Frech speaking with greater majority natives from Yambassa and Mbam.
The community was erected as a parish on the 17th of June 1983 by His grace archbishop Simon TONYE with Fr Oscar EONE EONE as the first parish priest.
Today, from a sociological point of view, the parish is made up of all nationalities (Cameroonians and Nigerians to just name a few).
The name Holy Trinity was given by the first parish priest, Oscar EONE EONE and the solemn dedication of the parish took place on May 28th 1988.
A partnership was later signed with the Missionary congregation of Saint Paul (MSP) based in Nigeria to lead the people of God who constituted Holy Trinity parish.
